site.bta4,602 PCR Tests Confirm 603 COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 29,108

Sofia, October 18 (BTA) - According to the national coronavirus
information portal on Sunday, 4,602 PCR tests confirmed 603 new
COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, bringing Bulgaria's total
 to 29,108 cases, of which 11,228 are active. The test
positivity rate now stands at 13.1 per cent, down from 13.88 on
Saturday.

Ten people died since yesterday, bringing the death toll to 968.

A total of 1,532 medical staff are infected.

Of the 1,484 people hospitalized, 79 are in intensive care
units.

Over the past 24 hours, the number of recoveries rose by 37,
reaching 16,912.
