site.bta3,816 New COVID-19 Cases Bring Bulgaria's Total to 78,976, First Time Daily Deaths Cross 100-Mark

Sofia, November 10 (BTA) - A total of 3,816 COVID-19 infections
were reported in the past 24 hours based on 8,826 PCR tests,
according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Tuesday. The
positivity rate is 43.24 per cent.

Out of a total of 78,976 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 51,922
are active. The hospitalized patients number 4,004, including
270 in intensive care.

Sofia tops the list with 1,403 new infections, followed by
Plovdiv with 392 and Varna with 220.
 
There are 3,123 COVID cases among health workers.  

Daily recoveries number 875, bringing the total to 25,283.

There were 106 new fatalities on Monday, the first time Bulgaria
 has crossed 100 daily deaths, bringing the total to 1,771.
