site.bta3,146 New Coronavirus Cases after 7,224 PCR Tests in Bulgaria on Tuesday

Sofia, November 24 (BTA) - There are 3,146 new coronavirus cases
 in Bulgaria after 7,224 PCR tests done in the 24 hours until
mightnight on Tuesday, according to the daily update of the
national coronavirus information platform. It makes the
positivity rate 43.43 per cent showing that the spread of the
infection is not easing.

The active cases across the country total 83,671, adding up to
124,966 since the start of the pandemic. 6,270 people are
hospitalized, including 399 in intensive care. The infections
among medical staff total 4,944.

The recoveries total 1,704 on Tuesday and 38,226 since the start
 of the pandemic.
   
The new fatalities are 189 on Tuesday, making the death toll of
the pandemic 3,069 thus far. NV/LN/
