No fire has broken out in Sofia's Pirogov emergency hospital, the Hospital said in a statement here Tuesday. Earlier on Tuesday, the Interior Ministry said that a report of smoke on the second floor was received at the hospital in the morning. No people were injured in the incident.

At the entrance of the hospital there was a fire alarm control panel failure, because of which Sofia's Fire Safety and Civil Protection Directorate was alerted. The firefighters made an inspection, also checking all fire alarm control panels in the hospital area, the Hospital also reported.
