The weather in the mountains is changeable and has not yet stabilised after the rainfall, the Mountain Rescue Service said. The cable car in Borovets is open.
Mountain rescuers advise hikers to monitor the hourly weather forecast, go hiking in the mountains with charged batteries on their phones and walk only on marked trails.

Clouds will be variable over the mountains. Only in isolated places, mainly in the morning hours in the Strandzha and southern Rhodope regions, there will be showers of rain. There will be moderate northwest wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 17C, at 2,000 metres - around 10C, according to the forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.
