Vice President Iliana Iotova opened the regional festival celebrating the Bulgarian chitalishta [community cultural centres], “the living heritage of the country”, in Razgrad on Saturday. "I am honoured to be among you and thank you for the invitation, because together we will enjoy a lot of talent, beauty and all that the Bulgarian land gives birth to as folklore, traditions and heritage. I am particularly pleased that we are present at something very important: the young people and children you have brought here to pass them on the legacy of these traditions, of this spirit that has always been here in this land, the legacy of our ancestors," Iotova said.
