The European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice President, Lilyana Pavlova, pointed out Tuesday that the offshore wind energy in the Black Sea region is important for the autonomy and democracy of the whole of Europe. Pavlova took part in the opening ceremony of a roundtable discussion entitled "Black Sea Renewable Energy Coalition: a Strategic Partnership for Energy and Climate Security" during which the Black Sea Renewable Energy Coalition was established. The event was organized by the Centre for the Study of Democracy (CSD) and took place at Grand Hotel Sofia.
