The central government debt as of end-January 2023 amounts to BGN 40,025.5 million, which is an increase by BGN 2,932.6 million as compared to end-December 2022, which is mainly due to the new debt assumed this month on the foreign government securities market, the Ministry of Finance reported on Tuesday.
