Bulgarian caretaker Minister of Defence Dimitar Stoyanov said on Saturday that his country highly appreciates the Italian Republic's role as the framework country for the multinational battle group on Bulgarian territory, at a working meeting with his Italian counterpart Guido Crosetto held at Bezmer Air Base, Southeast Bulgaria. Stoyanov added that Italy is an essential partner for Bulgaria in the EU and NATO, which are both key organizations to Bulgaria's security and defence.
