Introduce Fully Electronic
Administrative Services
Sofia, September 30 (BTA) - The National Centre for Information
and Documentation (NACID) is implementing a project for
transition to fullly electronic administrative services, BTA
learned from Verzhinia Tsankova, the Centre's Chief Secretary
and manager of the project.
The 18-month project which was launched in April aims to
introduce e-services to individuals and companies such as
provision of copies of documents held at the Centre, and checks
of the academic status of foreign educational establishments and
of the authenticity of diplomas, among others. New servers and
basic software licences will be bought under the project.
The project is worth nearly 783,000 leva provided from
Operational Programme Administrative Capacity with co-financing
from the European Social Fund.
Currently the NACID offers two e-services: recognition of
foreign higher education and issue of certificates for Bulgarian
qualifications for non-regulated occupations, which are
required for performing a regulated occupation in an EU Member
State.
NACID's other 14 services and activities involve provision of
information on education, science and innovation. LI/DD
