Sofia, November 13 (BTA) - Sofia Airport serviced 320,117
passengers in October, or by 7.5 per cent more compared to the
same month of 2013, the airport's management reported Thursday.
Terminal 2 serviced 67 per cent of these passengers and Terminal
1 the remaining 33 per cent.

The regular international flights made up 9 per cent of Sofia
Airport's passenger traffic, increasing by 10 per cent from
October 2013 with 302,724 passengers serviced. The passengers on
domestic flights totalled 11,608 in October 2014, or by 18 per
cent less compared to the same month last year.

Sofia Airport serviced 3,810 flights in October 2014, up by 4.6
per cent year-on-year. The number of regular international
flights rose by 6 per cent due to the increased number of
flights by the international airlines operating to Sofia.

In October 2014, Sofia Airport processed 1,822 tonnes of cargo
and postal packages, or by 22 per cent more compared to October
2013, which is the result of several additional freight charter
flights last month.
