Sofia, November 17 (BTA) - Defence Minister Nikolay Nenchev is
leaving on a two-day visit to Brussels on Monday, his Ministry
said.

Nenchev will attend the Foreign Affairs Council with the
participation of the defence ministers of the EU Member States.
A meeting of the Steering Board of the European Defence Agency
(EDA) will be held during the forum.

The participants in the working meetings will discuss the
implementation of EDA's priority projects, the Agency's budget,
EU military operations and their financing, and other matters of
current relevance, including the need to update the European
Defence Strategy.

Nenchev is scheduled to meet with NATO Deputy Secretary General
Alexander Vershbow. PK/DD
