Photos of Refugee Children Exhibited at Sofia  Airport

Sofia, August 4 (BTA) - Sofia Airport's Terminal 2 is the venue for an exhibition of forty colour photographs of refugee children at the reception centres in Bulgaria. The exhibition mottoed "I Have a Dream" shows that those children have the same faces and dreams as children elsewhere, the airport's press office said. However, most of them have suffered violence, the loss of a loved one or of their home. They dream of going back to their country with their parents, going to school and playing.

The pictures were taken by photographer Ilka Antonova and journalist Nidal Khlaif. The exhibition is staged on UNICEF's initiative to promote tolerance and acceptance of people forced to flee their homes. It will be on all through August.
