Borissov Confers with Tusk and Juncker by Telephone

Sofia, November 5 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov had separate telephone conversations with European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the Cabinet's Press Centre reported on Thursday.

They discussed an upcoming extraordinary meeting of state and government leaders that will focus on migration. Borissov reaffirmed Bulgaria's willingness to contribute actively to the solution of the migration crisis in Europe, stressing the need for more solidarity in the joint implementation of approved measures and greater efficiency of future discussions.

Borissov also talked with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. He assured his counterpart that during the extraordinary European Council meeting he will defend the common position of the governments of Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia formulated at a trilateral meeting in Sofia at the end of October.
