Prosecutor General to Sign Memorandum of Cooperation with Prosecution Authority of Montenegro
Sofia, November 16 (BTA) - Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov and his deputy Borislav Sarafov are leaving on a two-day official visit to Montenegro at the invitation of Montenegrin Supreme State Prosecutor Ivica Stankovic, Tsatsarov's Office said on Monday.
The two will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two countries prosecution authorities. The document envisages exchange of information on legislation and case law in areas of common interest as well as publications and legal opinions in the field of criminal law. The sides will also exchange information on international judicial cooperation in criminal matters and, in particular, national structure, tactics, results, experience with third countries, including citizens' protection from unfair trial abroad.
So far the Bulgarian prosecution authority has signed accords with Belgium, Turkey, Macedonia, Russia, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, China, France and Kazakhstan.
