Europe's Security Concerns Should Not Drain Funding from Operational Programmes, PM Borissov Says

Varna, on the Black Sea, November 16 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime
Minister Boyko Borissov said on Monday that in the wake of the
November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris, Europe will invest more
heavily in its security, but this should not come at the expense
 of the Operational Programmes.

Borissov said the possibility of reduced funding for the
Operational Programmes worries him a lot, but the Bulgarian
authorities have stated that this should be prevented.

He said his government already took the necessary measures after
 the Paris tragedy.

The Prime Minister was in Varna to unveil a new regional waste
treatment system for the municipalities of Varna, Axakovo and
Beloslav. He was accompanied by Environment and Water Minister
Ivelina Vassileva, Transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski and
Sports Minister Krassen Kralev.
