Bucharest, October 5 (BTA) - The Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council in 2018, Liliyana Pavlova, is in the Romanian capital for the Bucharest Forum 2017, Pavlova's ministry reported on Thursday. The agenda of the forum is structured around the theme "Centre and Periphery - Bridging the Divide." The investment climate in Central and Eastern Europe, the Energy Union, and Black Sea offshore and onshore security are among the topics.

Pavlova has been invited to join a discussion panel called "Regaining Its Tempo, Europe Looks Ahead." The discussion will focus on economic and political developments at the national, regional and international level, and citizens' problems.
