Sofia, October 10 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov held a phone conversation with European Council President Donald Tusk, the Government Information Service said Tuesday. Following the discussions held during the Tallinn meeting of EU heads of state and government, Borissov and Tusk discussed topics related to the future processes and reforms in the EU and, in particular, the so-called Leaders Agenda 2017/2018.

Tusk informed the Bulgarian PM of the progress made in the preparation of the agenda, which the European Council President follows during his consultations with EU leaders. The goal is to improve the efficiency and coordination at summits, the press release reads.

Borissov and Tusk also discussed the forthcoming Western Balkans Summit in Sofia in May 2018, which will be hosted jointly by them within the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council. They coordinated the activities for the summit's organization, as well as the process of coordinating a suitable date for the forum with the other Member States.
