site.btaRecord 4,525 PCR Tests Confirm 140 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 4,831

June 30 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 4,831 on Tuesday after 140 new infections were confirmed over the last 24 hours out of a record 4,525 PCR tests, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg.

A total of 138,130 PCR tests have been performed since the first cases were diagnosed on March 8.

The active cases are 2,026. The newly infected persons include 10 medical staff (2 doctors, 5 nurses, 2 orderlies and 1 other), and this category now totals 404.

The hospitalized patients number 434, including 31 in intensive care.

Another 74 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 2,582.

Four more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll to 223. RI/LG
