site.bta174 New Cases of COVID-19 Confirmed in Bulgaria in 24 Hours

Sofia, July 7 (BTA) - Bulgaria has 174 new cases of COVID-19
confirmed over the last 24 hours, based on 2,775 PCR tests,
according to data published on the national coronavirus
information portal.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country
since the beginning of the epidemic to 5,914. There are 2,664
active cases. Hospitals are providing medical treatment to 470
COVID-19 patients, including 29 in intensive care. Eighty-five
people recovered from the infection on Monday. The total number
of recoveries so far is 3,000.

Four people died of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours. The death
toll thus reached 250.

The largest number of new cases was registered in Sofia City, at
 86. NV/VE
