July 26 (BTA) - Bulgaria has 189 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in 24 hours until 00.00 hrs on Sunday, according to data published on the national coronavirus information portal. They were diagnosed after 2,161 tests.

There are 4,668 active cases, with 33 patients receiving intensive care. Fifty-four people recovered from the disease in 24 hours. One patient died.

The largest numbers of new cases were registered in the regions of Sofia (92), Varna (16) and Blagoevgrad (15). No new cases were diagnosed in eight of Bulgaria's 28 regions. RI/VE
