August 21 (BTA) - A hundred and forty-two new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the past 24 hours out of 6,844 tests, according to data on the national coronavirus portal published on Friday.

Five patients died and 63 are in intensive care units.

There are 4,343 active cases in the country, with 156 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
