site.bta157 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In 24 Hours

Sofia, August 29 (BTA) - In the past 24 hours, 157 new COVID-19
cases were confirmed based on 6,337 PCR tests, according to data
 on the national coronavirus website published on Saturday.

This has brought coronavirus infections to a total of 16,065, of
 which 4,231 cases are active.

Some 11,231 patients have recovered, with 187 in the past 24
hours.

Seven hundred and twelve patients are hospitalized, with 59 in
intensive care units.

The death toll stands at 603, with nine fatalities in the past
24 hours.

Eight hundred and seventy-one medics have been infected. NV/PP
