site.btaTwenty-six Newly Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria

August 31 (BTA) - The number of newly confirmed COVID-19
cases in Bulgaria rose by 26 out of 1,470 tests over the past 24
 hours, according to the site coronavirus.bg.

This brings the total number of cases in Bulgaria to 16,190,
with 4,264 of them currently active. Recoveries rose by 60 over
the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 11,313.

Out of 726 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 63 are in intensive
care.

The number of infected medical staff since the start of the
pandemic reached 880.

Bulgaria's COVID-19 death toll stands at 613, with 8 new deaths
over the last 24 hours.
