September 21 (BTA) - Forty-four infections were confirmed in the 24 hours until Sunday midnight through 1,249 PCR tests, bringing Bulgaria total to 18,863 cases, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Monday. The active cases are 4,522.

Currently, the hospitalized patients number 718, including 35 in intensive care.

Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 22, bringing the total to 13,580.

Six more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll to 761.

The capital Sofia tops the list with 9 newly confirmed cases, followed by Blagoevgrad and Montana with 8 each.
