site.btaPresident Rumen Radev Releases Kaloyan Metodiev from Chief of Staff Position

Sofia, September 21 (BTA) - President Rumen Radev signed a
decree releasing Kaloyan Metodiev from his post as Chief of
Staff, said the Head of State's press service on Monday.

On his Facebook page, Metodiev posted: "I am leaving the
presidential institution due to a discrepancy in the
assessments, methods and goals of the policy (not in a
conjunctural sense). I am expressing my gratitude to part of the
 team that I worked with. Moving forward''.

The political scientist took office in the summer of 2019, after
 his predecessor Ivo Hristov became a Bulgarian Socialist Party
