site.bta5,431 PCR Tests Confirm Record-high Daily Tally of 436 COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 22,306

Sofia, October 7 (BTA) - A total of 436 infections were
confirmed in the 24 hours until Tuesday midnight through 5,431
PCR tests, bringing Bulgaria's total to 22,306 cases, according
to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Wednesday. The
percentage of positive cases increases to 8.02 per cent on
Wednesday, from 7.62 per cent on Tuesday.

The active cases are 6,134. Currently, the hospitalized patients
 number 971, including 57 in intensive care.

Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 131, bringing the total
to 15,310.

Eight more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death
