site.bta5,457 PCR Tests Confirm 1,225 New COVID-19 Cases, Positivity Rate at 22.45%

November 2 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 54,069 after 5,457 PCR tests identified 1,225 new infections in the 24 hours until Sunday midnight, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg. The test positivity rate now stands at 22.45 per cent.

The active cases are 32,241. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 2,680, including 169 in intensive care.

Another 485 COVID-19 patients recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 20,530.

Nineteen more fatalities were reported, and the death toll now totals 1,298.
