Sofia, July 27 (BTA) - The 2014 Summer Meeting of the International Police Executive Symposium (IPES) begins in Sofia on Monday, the press centre of the Interior Ministry said on Sunday. The theme of the forum is: Crime Prevention and Community Resilience: Police Role with Victims, Youth, Ethnic Minorities and Other Partners. Bulgaria hosts the forum on proposal by IPES founder and President Dilip Das.

Global approaches in prevention of crime and violence, strategies for their countering,  good police practices and possibilities to enhance citizens' safety, help victims of crimes and strengthen the law-enforcement structures will feature on the agenda of the discussions.
