London, November 5 (BTA) - Deputy Economy and Energy Minister
Branimir Botev participated in a meeting of tourism ministers
within the World Travel Market exhibition in London, his
ministry said on Wednesday.

The meeting took place under the auspices of Taleb Rifai,
Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization, which
co-organized the event.

This year the forum focused on 'Tourism and Mega-Events:
Building a Lasting Legacy'.

Meeting with WTO Secretary General Rifai, Botev discussed
continuing the successful cooperation with WTO and the drafting
of a national tourist industry plan. The two discussed
possibilities for WTO internships for Bulgarian students. PK/PP
