Cabinet Election Procedure Starts in Parliament

Sofia, November 7 (BTA) - Parliament is electing Friday the
Prime Minister and Council of Ministers proposed by GERB leader
Boyko Borissov on Thursday after a month of negotiations with
the parliamentary forces.

The sitting is attended by President Rosen Plevneliev, Vice
President Margarita Popova, caretaker Prime Minister Georgi
Bliznashki and cabinet members, senior magistrates, the National
Ombudsman, Patriarch Neophyte, diplomats, representatives of
the trade unions and employers.

At the back entrance to the building, a group of sympathizers of
the nationalist Ataka party are protesting against the election
of a cabinet headed by Borissov.
