European Commissioner: Bulgaria Has Shown Fast Pace Regarding Completion of Rural Development Programme

Brussels/Sofia, November 17 (BTA) - During the past year
Bulgaria has demonstrated fast pace regarding the completion of
the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013, EU Commissioner for
Agriculture Phil Hogan said at a meeting with Bulgarian Deputy
Agriculture and Food Minister Vassil Groudev in Brussels on
Tuesday.

Commissioner Hogan voiced full support for the Bulgarian
Government's policies on the sector of agriculture. He described
 the work between the European Commission and the Ministry
regarding the approval of the Rural Development Programme
2014-2020 as successful.

At  the Agriculture and Fisheries Council, Hogan presented the
Commission's views for simplification of the Common Agricultural
 Policy.
