Russian Military Inspectors Arrive in Plovdiv

Sofia, November 24 (BTA) - A group of Russian inspectors have arrived on a three-day visit to Bulgaria to inspect military activities in the area around the southern city of Plovdiv, where important Bulgarian military forces are stationed, the Defence Ministry in Sofia reported on Tuesday. The inspection is pursuant to the confidence-building Vienna Document of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

The group's Tuesday agenda includes meetings with the commanders of the military units in the inspection area and a visit to the Novo Selo practice range.
