Doha, September 6 (BTA) - Bulgarian Regional Development and Public Works Minister Nikolai Nankov conferred here with Qatari Transport and Communications Minister Jasim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti. The two discussed the results achieved in bilateral cooperation and shared ideas about future joint projects, Nankov's Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday.

At the beginning of the meeting, Nankov congratulated Al Sulaiti on Tuesday's impressive inauguration ceremony for the largest Qatari port, Hamad. The guest recalled the Transport and Communications Minister's visit to Bulgaria last year, when the Bulgarian Port Infrastructure Company and the Qatar Ports Management Company (MWANI Qatar) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

Nankov proposed that the sides work on a memorandum on road infrastructure as well, the press release says. Al Sulaiti expressed satisfaction with the idea and backed the drafting of such a document, to be signed during future joint meetings.
