Taraclia, Moldova, October 6 (BTA) - Two Bulgarian universities and the Grigore Tamblac Taraclia State University set up a Bulgarian-Moldovan education consortium on Thursday. The agreement was signed here by Angel Kanchev University of Rousse Rector Velizara Pencheva, St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo Rector Hristo Bondzholov, and Taraclia State University Rector Maria Paslar.

Paslar explained that the agreement's preparation had continued for a long time and was coordinated with the education ministries of Bulgaria and Moldova. "In order to be in line with the 21st century and meet the expectations of our children and young people, we should develop the Taraclia State University," Iotova said. Dodon underscored that it should be a common task not just to preserve but also to develop this university.

The forum was officially launched on Thursday and will be on until October 8 in Chisinau.
