Sofia, December 25 (BTA) - The leadership of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church issued a special Christmas message which was read out during a liturgy at the St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia.

In the message, Patriarch Neophyte and the metropolitans wished all Bulgarians across the world to be healthy and cheerful. and to succeed, with the Lord's blessing, in all positive and God-pleasing undertakings.

The Patriarch said in a blessing: "May God's mercy and love, the grace and the peace of the Infant Lord who is being born in Bethlehem today, and communion in the Holy Spirit be with us all."
