Sofia, June 5 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov Tuesday conferred with the Public Prosecutor General of Germany, Peter Frank, who is on a visit to Sofia at the invitation of Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov, the government's information service said. Tsatsarov took part in the meeting as well. The talks focused on Bulgaria's efforts against contraband trade, and on the work of the new anti-corruption authority, the Counter-Corruption and Unlawfully Acquired Assets Forfeiture Commission.

Earlier in the day German Public Prosecutor Frank conferred with GERB floor leader and Chairman of the parliamentary Internal Affairs Committee Tsvetan Tsvetanov, the GERB party said in a press release. The two discussed the Bulgarian anti-corruption legislation.

Tsvetanov expressed satisfaction with the declared will to continue the good cooperation between Bulgaria and Germany in law enforcement.

Frank said that corruption and organized crime must be fought on all possible levels, which needs to be visible to society as well.
