Bucharest (September 6, 2023) The eighth edition of the Three Seas Initiative Summit is being held at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace in Bucharest. The summit aims to promote cooperation on infrastructure development in the energy, transport and digital sectors, targeting new investments, economic growth and energy security. The Three Seas Initiative brings together 12 EU member states located between the Baltic, Adriatic and Black Seas. Its main objective is to deepen the integration of the Central and Eastern European region within the EU through greater connectivity between the participating countries along the North-South axis in key areas such as energy, transport, communications, information technology.
