Bulgarians from all over Austria gathered at Vienna's Karlsplatz Square on May 26 for what has become a traditional Big Bulgarian Horo, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Vienna on its Facebook page. Horo is a traditional chain dance in Bulgaria.
The event was organized by the Pendari Vienna company for traditional music and dance.
Participating were dancers of Pendari Vienna, a children dance group, Bulgarian dancers and singers from Gratz, as well as hundreds of Bulgarians and guests of the Austrian capital.
Pendari Vienna was founded in the spring of 2013 by Bulgarian folklore enthusiasts. Their repertoire includes Bulgarian songs and original choreographic solutions based on traditional dances from different ethnographic regions of Bulgaria.
