The Bulgarian film Dyad will be screened in the Italian city of Ariccia on October 11 2024 at 17:00 local time at Palazzo Chigi, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Rome announced.

The film is part of the Castelli Romani International Film Festival (Festa Internazionale del Cinema dei Castelli Romani).

Dyad is directed and produced by Yana Titova and stars Margarita Stoykova, Petra Tsarnorechka, Silvia Lulcheva, Ivan Barnev, Vasil Binev, Tsvetan Alexiev, Irmena Chichikova, Jacqueline Docheva, Stoyan Doychev.

The film tells the story of Dida, a rebelous girl, who lives amid violence and problems in school. But she has one dream - a new life with her mother who lives in the US. A cheap ticket to New York becomes her obsession and Dida fights tooth-and-nail for every cent. But a cruel revelation throws her life into chaos and the pain drives her to commit an unthinkable act.
