site.btaBessarabian Bulgarian Journalist, Poet and Patriot Dmitri Borimecicov Celebrates 75th Birthday at Olimpii Panov School in Taraclia

The journalist, photographer, poet and patriot Dmitri Borimecicov turned 75. On this occasion, a lesson in Bulgarian language and literature dedicated to Borimecicov, took place at the Olimpii Panov local secondary school. 

In his presence, twelfth graders and their teacher Alona Stoeva examined Borimecicov's biography, creativity and contribution to the development, preservation of traditions, customs and history of the Bulgarians living in Moldova.

During the question and answer session, the youngsters heard from the poet why he remained lonely throughout his life, found out how he achieved his goals and where he drew his inspiration from.
