BSP-United Left Coalition is set on regaining its leading positions in Svishtov, the formation's press centre said Sunday. The Socialists launched their election campaign in the northeastern town with rose planting. Top-of-the-list candidate Mariana Boyadzhieva and MP candidates Georgi Filipov, Yordan Neykov, Daniela Davidkova, Dimana Angelova, and Mario Ivanov thus showed how politicians should be caring in every endevour.
Boyadzhieva, who was among the most active MPs in the 42nd National Assembly, recalled that at the time, resources were provided for the road connecting Tsarevets and Bulgarsko Slivovo, and two streets in Ovcha Mogila were restored after a flood with her assistances.
BSP head in Svishtov Sofia Vergilova-Georgieva called on the town residents to vote for the Left union. Maya Manolova, leader of the Rise Up, Bulgaria party within the coalition, expressed support of the BSP-Left Unit's candidate list and said that after the elections, the Socialists will not form a coalition with GERB or the formations of Ahmed Dogan and Delyan Peevski.
