The Vazrazhdane party launched its election campaign here on Saturday, the formation's press centre reported. Attending the event were top-of-the-list candidate in Haskovo Georgi Georgiev, municipal councilors Yassen Kolev, Krassimira Hristova, and Rositsa Hristozova, as well as Vazrazhdane members and supporters in Haskovo. They discussed with local residents key matters such as the demographic crisis, unemployment, pension reform, low incomes, and problems with infrastructure.
Georgiev told locals that Vazrazhdane's demographic policy includes improvement of the economic enviroment and young people's incomes as well as financial incentives for young families and formation of family models through progressive support for responsible parenthood up to the fourth child. The party also envisages the construction of State-owned enterprises and tax concessions for private companies to encourage them to invest in depopulated areas.
In the field of healthcare, Vazrazhdane plans changes aimed at providing residents of small settlements with quick and adequate access to healthcare, free medicinal products and free treatment of children aged under 18, including abroad.
