An expert cabinet can be formed in the next National Assembly to lead the country out of the political crisis, said BSP-United Left top-of-the-list candidate in Ruse Ivan Ivanov during an election campaign debate on bTV on Wednesday, as quoted by his party in a press release.
He warned of the danger of not adopting a state budget for 2025, which could lead to the State's collapse. "Those responsible will be those who lashed out all kinds of insults and attacks in the last parliament, even though they were partners before", Ivanov said. According to him, the failure to form a government is rooted in the amendments to the Constitution, made by the Denkov-Gabriel cabinet.
He also noted that a large part of the policies of Vazrazhdane are built on the fundamental ideas of BSP, only upgraded in a direction which leads to political isolation. Ivanov emphasised that such a divisive way of making politics dooms the future of hundreds of thousands of Bulgarian citizens.
"In order to get out of this unprecedented political crisis, which various right-liberal experiments have brought us, BSP-United Left has drawn up a programme of 100 points to restore the trust of Bulgarian citizens in the state", Ivanov concluded.
