Meeting with Bulgarian Rise supporters and members here on Thursday, Bulgarian Rise leader Stefan Yanev said: "Bulgaria's success depends on the success of each one of us." In his words, politics in Bulgaria has lost people's trust because one and the same is offered. "You cannot be doing one and the same thing for a long time and expect a different outcome," he noted. It is important to know what one is voting for: reason, development or more of the same, he added.

Yanev said that in the coming days work should be done on making more people go to vote regardless of who they will vote for, because that is how the status quo can be changed. The power rests with citizens, he added. "If people vote on a large scale, if there is voter turnout of around 70%, I guarantee you that the picture will be different and there will be many surprises on June 9," Yanev argued.

He called on all parties to together form one clear goal: what they want Bulgaria to be like in the next 10 to 20 years; then it will be easy to form policies to achieve that goal. "The National Assembly is a place for dialogue, not for red lines to be drawn," Yanev noted.
