People's fear of war is growing and at campaign meetings they most tend to ask questions about the war, which is why the Socialist party has moved for a parliamentary resolution against sending Bulgarian service persons to Ukraine and against allowing the use of Western weapons against Russian targets, Socialist leader Korneliya Ninova said on bTV. She said "that would be the first thing BSP for Bulgaria will do on the first day of the future Parliament".

She said that more voices of reasons are heard across Europe, including in Italy which has said that it would not be sending military personnel to Ukraine nor would allow the use of Western weapons on targets in Russian territory.

She also said that people are "tired of elections and prefer to have stability and security rather than new elections". "They are disappointed by the lack of ethics in politics and because they were misled by promises for a change, said the Socialist leader.
