BSP leader Korneliya Ninova and BSP candidates for MPs from Veliko Tarnovo met Monday with Polski Trambesh (North-Central Bulgaria) Mayor, as well as municipal councilors and citizens from the town. They discussed a number of local government issues such as inter-village transport, water and sewerage and road infrastructure, social services and how to help resolve them with the members of the next National Assembly.

"We have always been in favour of decentralization of municipal budgets, with part of the taxes collected staying in the municipalities and going back to residents in the form of infrastructure and services," Ninova said. "In the current political instability at national level, mayors are extremely important and are a guarantor of security and care for the people. Where a BSP mayor rules, this is evident," she added.
