Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) MP Ivaylo Mirchev told reporters in Parliament here on Thursday that his coalition has substantial demands on what commitments Bulgaria should make at the Ukraine Security Summit held in Paris on Thursday. He specified that the government should report with whom they meet during the summit.
Mirchev said: "We have very strong demands on what meetings should be held and what commitments Bulgaria should make, for which we will most likely ask for a hearing or ask questions to Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov." He added that this forum is extremely important to Bulgaria, as it can allow the country to "switch to Europe's first speed."
Bulgarian Prime Minister Zhelyazkov will be participating in the meeting on peace and security.
This is the third such meeting in recent weeks after previous talks held in London and Paris. The meeting is taking place alongside peace talks in Ukraine involving representatives from Kyiv, Washington, and Moscow.
