The final score came after a hat-trick by Isaac Price, a goal by Josh Magennis, and an own goal by Bulgarian goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov.
The Bulgarian team had its chances but failed to capitalize on them, most notably with a missed penalty kick by the captain, Kiril Despodov.
Bulgaria's next match will be against Luxembourg on November 15.
