Vitosha will host an international downhill mountain biking race, part of the International Cycling Union calendar and carrying points for the world ranking, the organizers said. The 11th edition of the Home Mountain Bike Cup will take place from September 20 to 22, with more than 100 entries so far from Bulgaria, France, Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of North Macedonia.

The event is part of the calendar of Sofia - European Sports Capital Foundation and Sofia Municipality.

The riders will take on the 2-km Vitoshko Lale course, one of the most technically challenging tracks in the country.
